sitting here with avalynn

ava...shes such a little peanut. she decided to sleep all day yesterday and stay up all night. im pretty exhausted. i think i need to start going to bed before midnight. oh yeah, she smiles for real now. she has a little dimple. i love it

anyway so working out has been going good. its been a week and i have lost 4 pounds. not too bad. rob is ahead in points right now but only by a few. hes going down.

we went to woburn safari park on sunday. it was pretty coool. a monkey jumped on my head and tried to get into the diaper bag...it was a dream come true. i love monkeys :) of course we didnt have the camera with us. we will be going back next month sometime so this time we will get more pics. anyway thats about it for now.

all kinds of stuff

soooo my wedding ring happened to show up in the middle of the floor....weird!! but yeah im happy it found its way back to me. Rob and I started working out. We are in a competition to see who can burn the most calories each month.....he goes during his lunch break and i go to the gym when he gets home from work. By the way...im winning for now...im sure he will make it hard for me b/c he really sucks at losing..anytime i beat him at anything, he has an attitude and tells me he let me win....what a loser :) so anyway whoever wins each month will get to pick something for us to do or something for us to buy.....it will be fun since our bills are about to get paid off.....go dave ramsey!!!!!!!!! hahhhahaa! so it looks like my dad and his new girlfriend are coming out to see us. Not too sure about her yet. i knew her when my dad and kelly were married and never liked her....now they are dating.....but we will see....i guess we are going to Scotland so they can play St Andrews golf course and then we will tour around Scotland for a bit to see the highlands and lake lochness.....pretty excited. My mom isnt going to come spring break anymore...she is terrified of flying and told me last night that since people keep "falling out of the sky" she probably wont be coming.....but its all good. it looks like we will be back in norfolk around July.....rob will be going to the Roosevelt....the same ship my dad was on for 6 years.....weird huh??? sooooooo life is good!! cant wait to lose some of this weight i have had since we got married.....20 pounds is my goal for now but im sure i could lose about 40. we'll see. okay gotta go get skinny!!!!!!!!!!!

kaia the terror

Okay 2 nights ago, Rob and I fell asleep on the couch. Kaia decided at 3 in the morning to ransack the entire house. She had eyeliner all over her face and lipstick all around her lips. Yes this was my 20 dollar lipstick :( She had gotten into Robs room and threw all the golfballs on the floor. This morning, Ava and I were on the couch sleeping, around 8. Rob had already left to go play golf. Kaia woke up silently again and jumped on my dresser and dumped my jewelry box out. My wedding ring is gone. Im sure it will come up one of these days. She also got into the makeup again and poured foundation on my bed. at least it was just the sheets and not the comforter. oh yeah and went into avas room and dumped all 4 baskets of diapers on the floor, then went into her bathroom and poured all of avas baby shampoo on the floor.......if i ever needed xanex, now is the time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The girl is crazy.

Yeah my hair is black now for the winter! I hate the cold. Cant wait to get home to 70 degrees in January. This rain and wind and cold weather realllllllyyyyy stinks. its very depressing. Well I will be back to blonde when its summer time and im happy again :)

Im ready to leave this place. I'm so tired of the wind and rain and cold. It starts to get to you. So much that im dying my hair black tonight :)

Baby Ava is 1 month old!!!

Baby Ava is 1 month and 4 days old today! She is the sweetest thing and i cant believe how much she looks like kaia when she was a baby! Its kinda scary.

Adjusting to a new baby in the house hasnt been as hard as i thought it would be until today. Rob just went back to work after having about a month off. It was nice having him here to play with kaia while i tended to the baby. Today, Kaia would get into something so i would set Ava down and take care of that, then Ava would start crying and i would have to comfort her.....back and forth pretty much all day....but i wouldnt trade my girls for the world. Kaia helped me change Ava's diaper today. She is such a big helper. She loves her sissy......for now!!!
