crazy week huh ?
SO the reason for blogging is to let things out, say what you want. Most people cant say what they want to say unless they are writing it out. I'm not a great speaker or a great writer, but i would much rather write things, than speak them. I don't take anything personally. I respect that everyone has their own opinions. i certainly have mine. Most of the time they differ from everyone elses opinion, yet I'm still a very open minded person. I take criticism pretty well (most the time) and listen to people when they speak their minds....but when i have a question about why they feel that way, i like answers. Jaci wrote something on her blog and i wrote her privately about the issue i had with it. We had a VERY civil discussion. Everything is fine. No hard feelings on my side and I dont think there are any on hers. We are 2 completely different people with different ways of thinking, yet she is still my sister :) We have only been together once and it was awesome. I think i had the best thanksgiving EVER!! I cant wait until we can all get together again. Families arent supposed to agree on everything, thats what makes them tick! We havent spent much time together but I want you all to know that i love you.

"World hopes for a less arrogant America"
It amazes me how much an election can change the world's view on our great country. This whole world is always looking at America. We are like their role model.
People around the world stayed awake last night (or their mornings) to see who the next leader of our country would be. Most Americans didnt even stay awake to find out. I didnt. I woke up about 4 am and turned the tv on to find out. We are so selfish. Americans could care less about other countries in this world, yet everyone looks up to our country. It should make us proud to be Americans no matter who our president is. Instead of bashing everyone, how about we wait until January and see what this guy can do. Change can be good sometimes.
This was the quote that made me want to write this. and the title of my blog was the title of the article.
America is electing a new president, but for the Germans, for Europeans, it is electing the next world leader," said Alexander Rahr, director of the German Council on Foreign Relations.

Election Day
So today is the big day!! I still wasnt sure who i was voting for when i got to the poll site. I only waited 5 minutes. My neighbor went like an hour and a half before me and waited for about an hour. The guy told me I came at a good time. I was like heck yes i did~!!!!
So all of the volunteers were very nice and very chipper. There were about 20 workers there. You know all of them are voting for different candidates, yet they put their political differences aside while everyone casts their votes. The last 2 years these 2 candidates have been battling it out and today is the day they have been waiting for. Im hoping that no matter who wins, the country will be fine. But anyway is was nice to see everyone so happy and cheerful (even the voters) when everyone obviously has different views...just cool...im a nerd i know!!

So my birthday was AWESOME!!! One of the best b-days i have ever had. The kids and I woke up. I asked Kaia what today was, She said trick or treat day! I said yeah and my b-day. she said no its my birthday....im like nooooooo its my birthday...and it went on and on! hahahaha so we go downstairs and there is a knock at the door. My girlfriend Jamie from England was at the front door with Balloons and a giftbag!! ( she didnt come for my b-day, her and her husband are here for 5 weeks for some navy school) annyway shes like HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! and she handed me the bag. Inside was nail polish remover, Shes like girl you need to get those nasty toes fixed. She said see ya later, i have the kids and i already bought you a pedicure up the street, GO!! I was like ohhhhhhh thanks!!!!! hahaha so i go and had a nice relaxing time, i had about 15 people call me to tellme happy birthday. I felt so special. Then when i got home, there were flowers at the front door....FROM ROB!!!! And the kids were soooooo good. Just had a busy day getting the house cleaned at stuff, Then jamie and eric came over with some other friends from england, and they made me dinner. We went trick or treating. Kaia had a blast!!! I got the kids to bed and my mom came over to watch the girls so I could go out with my girlfriends!!! It was such a great day!!!!!!! I just wish rob was here to share it with me....This will be birthday number 6 that he has missed due to being deployed or being at work. Today is football day and then dinner with the family. i hate the cold
soo it started getting cold here. The last few weeks have been in the 70's or 80's, now its like we are living in england again....cold, windy, cloudy, then rainy.....now im sick...and miserable. Im real tense, and every little thing kaia does makes me sooooo mad. And the sad part is, shes been real sweet. poor kaia.
You know how i roll, when it gets cold, i dye my hair dark....so there it is, pay no attention to my no-maked-up face, just loook at the dark depressing hair.... We went to Busch Gardens again last weekend, it was the last day they were open until spring. Fun fun.....kaia did gymnastics, the one pic is her on the bars, she did soooooo good....ava just wasnt having sitting there for an hour.....so we are gonna figure something out. Kaia will be starting gymnastics soon.....pretty exciting. im just being a miserable pessimistic person right now. In a few days i will be happy!!! thats about it.

My brain is sauteing...my new phrase
Going a little crazy here. The kids have been great! But me not having any break is getting to me. I'm looking into daycare for the girls for a couple hours a week. I am interviewing 2 ladies tomorrow. Rob is nagging me subliminally that he wants another care package soon. I cant really haul in a couple boxes and 2 kids into the post office, unless someone is with me or the kids aren't there. My to-do list keeps getting bigger and bigger. When i scratch one thing off my list there are 5 more things that i write down. Kaia starts gymnastics on Friday..well its a trial run to see if she likes it. I am also doing her b-day party there this year. They have a 16,000 square foot gym full of mats and trampolines and lots of foam pits to flip into...i think i am going to have more fun than the kids : ) Mondays are normally shopping days. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we walk around Mt Trashmore. Thursday night, i have a bunch of girls come over to eat dinner and watch Grey's Anatomy. Fridays are normally pretty busy, this Saturday we are going to Busch Gardens. We went last Sunday too. That's where the pics are from. When I'm stuck in the house, I complain that I'm bored. When i am running around all week, I complain that we are too busy. Is there a happy medium?
I hate monotony. Schedules make me cringe. I like to be a little spontaneous and do things we wouldn't normally do.
I just have like 20,000 little thoughts in my head at one time. My brain is slowly frying...kinda sauteing haha!!! It will all get better. I always tell people to shut up when they complain about dumb things...I'm sure that is what I'm doing right now. Its just super hard to do alone..kudos to all those single mothers out there and the women who man a household while their husband is deployed.... craziness!!!! Time to give baths!! Maybe tonight I can watch the shows I have been DVRing for the last 6 weeks :)
